This website collects nothing

There are no forms on this site, no accounts, no newsletter sign-up, and no shopping cart. It does not run analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording, and it sets no cookies of its own. There is no database behind it. Every page is a static file.

That is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly rather than burying: browsing this site does not create a record of you here, because there is nowhere for one to go.

What happens anyway, because the internet works this way

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the ordinary technical details of each request, including the requesting IP address, the browser and device type, and the time of the request. It uses them to deliver the page and to protect the site from attack and abuse. That processing is Cloudflare's, under its own terms, and nothing from it is passed to the practice or combined with anything else.

Booking happens somewhere else

The booking button leaves this site and opens Jane, the scheduling system this practice uses. Anything you type there, including your name, contact details, and anything you write in a booking note, is entered into Jane's system and handled under Jane's privacy terms and its agreement with the practice. None of it passes through this website.

Calling and emailing

If you telephone the office or send an email, that is handled by the practice in the ordinary way. Please do not send detailed health information by email. Email is not a secure channel, and anything clinical is better said on the telephone or at your visit.

Your health information is governed separately

This policy covers the website only. Your chart, your history, and anything you tell Dr. Simaan in the room are held in confidence by the practice and are not touched by this website. If you want to know how your records are kept, handled, or released, ask at the front desk or call (910) 389-5355 and you will get a straight answer.

Children

This site is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list.
